The town of Windermere is hosting its second round of lake cleanup this weekend.

The Lakes Cleanup Day aims to collect trash and debris in the area to keep the town healthy and clean.

February's Lakes Cleanup Day was a huge success, as town members gathered 39 pounds of trash.

The second cleanup will take place from 1:30-3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, at Fernwood Park, 632 Butler St.

Attendees should wear closed-toed shoes and be prepared to walk down streets and through neighborhoods.
