Town of Windermere officials will hold the first of two public meetings at 6 p.m. tonight, June 17, at Windermere Town Hall, 520 Main St., Windermere, to discuss plans for new town facilities.

The project, which began five years ago, was recently approved through a referendum earlier this year and will be funded by a loan of $5.2 million, according to Town Manager Robert Smith.

Smith said there are now two design options, however a third option to combine the two is also possible. The projected completion date is 2021.

New town facilities will also be discussed at a town council workshop on July 23.
