UPDATE: A woman who was killed Monday night in Dr. Phillips following a domestic call to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office has been identified as 38-year-old Tynell Lindsey, law enforcement said.

According to a news release, around 6:45 p.m., Monday, June 10, Orange County deputies responded to a 911 call from a child in a residence on Sand Lake Road who said his step-father had strangled his mother. 

Upon arrival, deputies discovered Tynell Lindsey severely injured and unresponsive, who was then transferred to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she died of her injuries, according to arrest reports. 

Jason Lindsey was charged with second degree murder and transported to the Orange County Jail.

A woman is dead following a domestic incident Monday evening in Dr. Phillips, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. 

In a press release, OCSO said deputies responded to a domestic all at 6:45 p.m. on the 7300 block of Sand Lake Road where deputies discovered a woman with severe injuries. A suspect was taken into custody on-scene, deputies said. 

The woman was transported to a local hospital where law enforcement said she died of her injuries. OCSO is not searching for any additional suspects at this time.
