1. “BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL”

7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday through June 2 at the Garden Theatre, 160 W. Plant St., Winter Garden.

“Billy Elliot” is an inspirational story set in northern England during the 1984 miners’ strike. Eleven-year-old Billy discovers a passion for dance instead of the boxing ring, and it changes his life. With music by Elton John; book and lyrics by Lee Hall.

Tickets are $30 to $35 and are available at gardentheatre.com.
