West Orange Civitans create school-supply packets


Members of the West Orange Civitan Club gathered recently at the S.T.A.R.S. (Supplies To Assist Our Students) office in the West Oaks Mall to make more than 200 school-supply packets for the upcoming school year.

Club members who participated and worked alongside S.T.A.R.S. Executive Director Hal McIntyre included, from left: Club President Cindy Baker, Lyla Skipper and Jean George. S.T.A.R.S. is in the process of making 9,300 school kits that will go to West Orange County students at approximately 50 schools.
