The event aims to raise funds and awareness for Women Build 2022, an annual event across the country that invites women to raise funds and devote at least one day to build.
The campaign aims to spotlight the homeownership challenges faced by women and address those issues head on through the power of women across the community, according to Habitat's website.
The City of Winter Garden is working closely with the organization to address the need for affordable housing in the east Winter Garden community.
The partnership provides the opportunity for low-income families to purchase their first home.
Women Build 2022 will help with the funding and building of two current homes being built in the community at Criswell Court.
The Wine Mingle will take place from 5:30-7 p.m. at J & J Building LLC, located at 854 Tilden Oaks Trail.
