+ Volunteer, take tour at Nehrling Gardens

Open garden and volunteer days are on the first and second Saturdays of the month from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

+ Are you a crafter?

St. Luke’s United Methodist Church is in need of crafters every Tuesday starting at 10:30 a.m. and the first and fourth Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. Participants should bring a bag lunch.

All groups will meet in the St. Luke’s Fellowship Hall.

+ Get veggies, fruits at farmer’s market

The Windermere Downtown Business Committee presents the Windermere Farmer’s Market every Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The market is located in Town Square at 614 Main Street. The market features fresh produce, fresh bread, hanging baskets, plants, homemade pasta, local honey and more.

Windermere resident Joseph Alarie, who majored in economics, recently graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn. He is the son of Joseph and Sylvia Alarie.

+ Sign up for camp at Camp Ithiel

Camp Ithiel in Gotha offers multiple overnight summer camp experiences. Campers participate in morning devotions, Bible studies, small-group discussions and campy evening worships.
