The Windermere Town Council will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at Windermere Town Hall, 520 Main St.

Council members will first hear a proclamation to declare Saturday, Sept. 17, through Friday, Sept. 23, as Constitution Week.

The town will then discuss an ordinance relating to the prohibition of vaping or smoking in town parks.

The proposed ordinance aims to amend Chapter 22 of the town's Code of Ordinances entitled "Parks and Recreation" to add a new section to prohibit smoking and the use of vapor-generated electronic devices within the boundaries of town-owned public parks.

Other items on the table include the 90% Paving Old Main Street Roadway and Water Main Plans, and an action plan from WastePro.
