Windermere volleyball team wins regional championship

The Wolverines took down Lake Brantley 3-1 to move on to the FHSAA final four against Jupiter.

The Windermere train keeps on rolling as the Wolverines claim the Class 7A Region 1 championship in a 3-1 victory over Lake Brantley on Nov. 6. 

The Wolverines went up 2-0 quickly by scores of 25-18 and 26-24. The Patriots captured the third set by a close score of 25-23, but Windermere won the fourth set to clinch the victory. 

Windermere now goes on to play Jupiter in the Class 7A final four. The game takes place on Nov. 13.
