Winter Garden City Commission meeting set for July 12

WINTER GARDEN — City commissioners will consider a recommendation to approve the final plat and right-of-way maintenance agreement for the 78.5-acre property identified as McAllister Landing Phase 1.

The subject property is located at 315 E Fullers Cross Road. Approval of the final plat and right-of-way maintenance agreement would create 133 new single-family lots. The property is assigned a future land-use designation of LR (low-density residential) and a zoning designation of PUD (planned unit development).

City leaders will then take action on a request to use funds from Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program to purchase field force equipment. The request is in the amount of $10,480.

Finally, commissioners will make appointments to the Architectural Review & Historical Preservation Board for Ryan Hinricher and Jessica Stone, whose three-year terms are set to expire.
