Winter Garden commission meeting set for April 26

WINTER GARDEN — City commissioners will consider the approval of the second reading of two rezoning ordinances and hear a presentation regarding Florida Hospital at the Winter Garden City Commission meeting Thursday evening.

Ordinance 18-17 pertains to a 0.625-acre parcel located at 227 S. Main St. If approved, the property would be rezoned from city R-2 residential district to city R-NC residential neighborhood commercial district.

Ordinance 18-19 seeks to rezone a 4-acre parcel generally located at 2001 Avalon Road. If approved, the property would be rezoned from Planned Unit Development (PUD) to Planned Commercial Development (PCD).

Additionally, Tim Cook will be delivering a presentation regarding Florida Hospital at the commission meeting.
