Winter Garden Commission to consider site plan for commercial development

Commissioners will consider a site plan for several commercial buildings on West Colonial Drive at the commission meeting at 6:30 p.m. on August 8 at City Hall. 

The site, the Tucker Oaks Lot 3, is a 9.94-acre parcel at 15500 West Colonial Dr. The plan requests approval for the construction of 12 buildings with 75,350 square feet of commercial and office space, including a large, one-story warehouse office building. 

The commission will also hold the first reading of a rezoning ordinance for a downtown property at 504 W. Plant Street. According to city documents, developers plan to construct a two-story professional office building, a pocket park with a pergola, pedestrian plaza and parking. 

A second reading and public hearing for the ordinance is scheduled for the Aug. 22 commission meeting.
