Winter Garden Little League 11-Year-Old All-Stars ready for district tournament

The Winter Garden Little League 11-Year-Old All-Star team began play in the District 14 Tournament at Ocoee Little League June 16, in pursuit of a district championship and more.

For head coach Bob Cortese, an experienced group of players that have played with one another previously will hopefully be the team's ticket to success.

"We have 11 kids returning from last year's (10-year-old) All-Star team," Cortese said. "We added two strong additions. We're going to have a solid hitting team and our pitching staff is real deep."
