Winter Garden sponsoring diaper drive

Did you know that one in three families struggle to provide diapers for their children?

For the month of September, the city of Winter Garden will be collecting diaper donations for families in need. The city, in conjunction with the Central Florida Diaper Bank, will be sponsoring the fifth annual September Diaper Drive to raise awareness of this need in the community. 

Donations can be taken to the Winter Garden City Hall at 300 W. Plant Street, or at any other participating business. For details on participating business locations, or to become a donation drop-off location call (407) 656-4111 ext. 2266. 

The Central Florida Diaper Bank — located at 1041 Crown Park Circle, Winter Garden — is an affiliate of the National Diaper Bank Network. This past year, the Central Florida Diaper Bank has distributed more than 246,000 diapers and 411,000 baby wipes as well as other basic essentials.
