With the spread of the coronavirus, the YMCA of Central Florida has decided to temporarily close its family center locations through at least Sunday, March 29.

While the doors will be closed, there are still options for those looking to continue their workouts at home, as the YMCA of Central Florida offers virtual options on its website for members.

There’s the New Y360 for YMCA members who are looking to take in a quick 10-minute workout, or speciality workouts via the “Les Mills on Demand” — which includes classes like BODYPUMP, Yoga Flow and more. Also offered is a Born to Move — a Les Mills program — for children ages 2 to 16.

Along with its virtual-exercise programs there are also online church services offered, as well as a virtual chef — where YMCA members can discuss healthy eating and recipes with Chef Gary Appelsies, who serves as the YMCA of Central Florida’s healthy eating director.
