Two youth football camps will take place this week in West and Southwest Orange County.

Ocoee Knights head coach Ben Bullock is hosting a camp on campus at Ocoee High's stadium June 9-10. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. each day and the camp runs from 6-8 p.m. each day.

The camp is for athletes in grades six through eight. Cost is $5 and the first 50 campers to register receive a compression shirt. The camp is sponsored by New Destiny Christian Center and is a partnership with Excel Speed and Fitness Training, which trains several of the Knights' varsity players.

The camp is urged as being particularly valuable for incoming freshman who are looking to join the football program at Ocoee High this fall. For more information, email Bullock at [email protected].

Excel Speed and Fitness will also be partnering with Dr. Phillips High's football program to host a camp serving athletes from kindergarten through eighth grade. The camp will take place this Saturday, June 9, and run from 9 a.m. through 1 p.m. at Dr. Phillips High.

Admission for campers is free, and the first 200 campers to register will receive a free t-shirt. Registration begins the day of the event at 8 a.m.
