It's the most wonderful time of the year! Make sure a take time to enjoy the season and all that Baldwin Park has to offer as the neighborhood celebrates its 10th anniversary! First resident Phyllis Fuller will be honored as the Grand Marshal during the Festival of Lights Parade on Saturday, Dec. 8, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Village Center. The 143rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command will participate with military families and vehicles and represent Baldwin Park's rich military history. Immediately following the parade, enjoy musical and dance performances, a photo opportunity with Santa, arts & crafts for the kids and much more in Village Green (located on New Broad Street across from Prospect Avenue). For more information, you can visit the event Facebook page "Baldwin Park Festival of Lights."

Dec. 7: The Baldwin Park Merchants Association will host its next First Friday Charity Festival & Art Stroll along New Broad Street from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Dec. 15: The Jingle Bell Run/Walk is 8 a.m. beginning and ending at Harbor Park. Be there with bells on!

Dec. 21: The next Movies In the Park on the Village Center Green will be Friday, Dec. 21. Come early to get a great spot and join in on the family activities, hot cocoa, hot cider, Christmas cookies, caroling and more, followed by a great movie, "A Christmas Story." Bring an unwrapped present for the charity Toys for Tots.

Take an evening and just a drive through the neighborhood to see all of the decorated houses. It’s a true winter wonderland in the Central Florida area! Best wishes for a happy holiday season.
