WPHS 2012 Night on Broadway presents “Les Miserables.” Join the Winter Park High School Chorus for this year’s benefit event, featuring a production of musical variety offering something for everyone. It will be held at 7:30 p.m. from May 3 through May 5 at the Ann Derflinger Auditorium at Winter Park High School. Tickets are $15 with reserved seating. Email [email protected] for tickets.

The Greater Orlando Doll Club’s 24th Annual Doll Show and Sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, at the Maitland Civic Center, 641 S. Maitland Ave. Tickets are $4 and kids ages 12 and younger are free.

Story Time at Leu Gardens presented by Nemours BrightStart! will take place Monday, May 7. Orange County Library System’s storytelling program comes to Leu Gardens the first Monday of each month, excluding holidays. Share stories and songs with your little one. This is a free indoor event. Times are: 10 to 10:15 a.m. for infants up to 18 months; 10:20 to 10:35 a.m. for toddlers, 18 months to 2 years old; and 10:40 to11 a.m. for preschoolers, 3 to 5 years old.

Enzian’s Popcorn Flicks in Central Park will feature “The Purple Rose of Cairo” from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, May 10. Visit Enzian.org

Maitland Movie in the Park on May 12 at 8:15 p.m. features “The Adventures of Tin Tin” at Quinn Strong Park. Bring your blanket and chairs and we will bring you the stars. Food is available for purchase.

Enzian’s Mother’s Day Brunch & Screening of “My Fair Lady” is Sunday, May 13. Doors open and brunch is served at 10 a.m. Film starts at 11 a.m. The Enzian is at 1300 S. Orlando Ave., Maitland. Single admission is $35; children 12 and younger are $20.

The Art & History Museums – Maitland (A&H) celebrates the residents of Maitland throughout the entire month of May. Maitland residents receive free admission to the A&H Museums May 1-31 with proof of residence.
Join your neighbors for Poetry Month at the Maitland Public Library. Festivities include contests for children’s poetry, through May 11, with the topic “It’s all about ME!!” and for adult poetry, May 1-28, with the topic of “Where I live!”
At 10:30 a.m. each Tuesday, the Maitland Public Library hosts preschool story and craft time. At 10:30 a.m. each Thursday, it hosts baby time stories and activities. At 4 p.m. each Thursday, it hosts Reading Buddies for kindergarten through fifth-grade. Call 407-647-7700.
