Two places to donate toys

Orange County Parks and Recreation is collecting toys through Dec. 10. Donations will be provided to local families and children in need through the Orange County Neighborhood Centers for Families, Orange County Public Schools’ homeless program, the Community Food and Outreach Center, Wraparound Orange and Toys for Tots. Children’s Home Society of Florida is hosting its annual Holiday Toy Drive. The goal is to collect 8,000 toys for children throughout Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties. The community is invited to donate toys for children aged 0-18, with the greatest needs revolving around infants and teenagers. Drop off unwrapped gift donations to the Children’s Home Society of Florida’s main office at 1485 S. Semoran Blvd. in Winter Park between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. through Dec. 15.
