Locals from around the area celebrated the Jewish faith Sunday night during the annual Chanukah on the Park event held in Winter Park.
Held at Central Park in downtown, those in the Jewish community took in a wide variety of events including face painting for children, live Jewish music, Chassidic dancers, and traditional Jewish cuisine.
The highlight of the evening, besides the gala dinner, was the lighting of the menorah by Myrtle Rutberg, who at the age of 106 still celebrates her Jewish heritage in full voice.
