Orlando Regional Realtor Association's new president

The Orlando Regional Realtor Association will induct member Bruce Elliott, Regal R.E. Professionals LLC, as 2017 president at its upcoming annual awards and inaugural gala.

“It is an honor and a duty to lead an organization whose members rely upon it so heavily for their success,” Elliott said. “My intent for 2017 is to further assist the association’s members by extending ORRA’s outreach via technology-driven distance learning and by developing additional community service projects for member participation.”

Elliott has been a Realtor since 2008 and has served in leadership roles for both ORRA and Florida Realtors. His service to ORRA includes stints on committees ranging from professional development (as chairman) to budget and finance and governmental affairs. He is also a member of the board of trustees of ORRA’s charitable arm, the Orlando Regional Realtor Foundation, and a Realtor Political Action Committee major investor.

Also installed on the ORRA 2017 Board of Directors were:

• President-elect: Lou Nimkoff, Brio Real Estate Services LLC

• Treasurer: Jeff Fagan, Watson Realty Corp

• Secretary: Dennis Burgess, Real Estate Firm of Orlando

2016 ORRA President John Lazenby, Colony Realty Group Inc., will remain on the board as immediate past president.

New directors to be installed on the ORRA 2017 Board of Directors include:

• Christian Bohyn, Christian Bohyn, Realtor

• Cat Brower, Mortgagee Title Services, Inc. (affiliate director)

• Mike McGraw, RE/MAX Town & Country Realty

• Reese Stewart, RE/MAX Properties SW Inc.

Directors whose terms continue through 2017 include:

This year’s ORRA Annual Awards and Inaugural gala will be held at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort on Saturday, Jan. 21.
