Two injured in east Winter Garden shooting, police say

Authorities said both male victims are minors.

Two males were hospitalized following an early-morning shooting in east Winter Garden, police said.

Winter Garden police responded to a call at 1:02 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4, in response to the shooting. Officers said the victims, both minors, ran to a home on Klondike and Ninth streets after being shot.

Winter Garden Police Capt. Scott Allen said Winter Garden Fire Rescue administered aid and transported the victims to the hospital. Investigators are working to determine what happened and are looking for witnesses to the shooting. No suspects have been identified.
