Morse Museum’s 33rd Christmas in the Park on Dec. 1 featured eight Tiffany windows and Bach Festival Choir. Christmas at the Casa was held on Thursday, Dec. 1, at Casa Feliz and featured hot cocoa and Santa photos.
A special Holiday Pops concert performed by the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra took place Sunday, Nov. 27, at 4 p.m., in beautiful Central Park. Guest conductor Albert George Schram led the Philharmonic along with the Holiday Singers and the Florida Opera Theatre Youth Program Singers.
On a bright, crisp Friday afternoon, Veteran’s Day 2011, Winter Park High School’s Junior ROTC and Color Guard paid tribute to more than a dozen veterans at Easter Seals Day Break at the Miller Center in Winter Park with a half hour performance showcasing their drill and marching skills.

Rollins professor Richard Owens performed in his 80th birthday recital and fundraiser on Oct. 15. “For the Love of Singing” raised close to $10,000 for the Music Theater Bavaria scholarship fund. The lakeside reception was sponsored by The Voice Care Center of the Ear, Nose, Throat & Plastic Surgery Associates, and by The Mayflower.
