D’Vonte Chapman sings “A change is gonna come” at Rollins College’s Martin Luther King Day Celebration on Jan. 17. The school held a vigil along with the celebration in honor of the assassinated civil rights leader.

The Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra debuted a new program that introduces music to children called Notes in Your Neighborhood.

The Shipyard Emporium is located at 200 W. Fairbanks Ave. in Winter Park. The grand opening will be held from 6-10 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 28.
