Eatonville’s 29th annual festival celebrating Harlem Renaissance author Zora Neale Huston had a great turnout.
Storms and showers couldn’t stop the city of Eatonville from hosting another successful ZORA! Festival. The 29th annual event ran from Friday, Jan. 26 through Sunday, Jan. 28 and celebrated the works of Harlem Renaissance author and Eatonville-native Zora Neale Huston. East Kennedy Boulevard was transformed into a sidewalk venue where visitors ate tasty food and checked out the merchants’ wares. The three-day celebration had an abundance of events including a line dancing showcase, art exhibits, speaking showcases, and an evening with music producer and recording artist David Banner.
