Dozens of Special Hearts Farm supporters gathered at Lakeridge Winery and Vineyards to dine, mingle and raise money for the Winter Garden-based nonprofit.
Guests donned their cowboy boots and flannels as they perused silent-auction items, grabbed a glass of wine, danced to music and more during Special Hearts Farm’s inaugural fundraiser. The “Boots, Wine and Dine Under the Stars” event was held Saturday, Dec. 15, at Lakeridge Winery and Vineyards in Clermont, but Special Hearts Farm is now based at the former Maxey Elementary in Winter Garden. The nonprofit serves individuals with disabilities by providing adult day training, supported employment and more related to farming and gardening experiences.
