Four cultural stations were set up in the cafeteria of Dillard Street Elementary School on Thursday, Nov. 15, during the school’s Multicultural Night, and guests were invited to learn about the various foods, music and dance presented during the evening.
Upon arriving, students received a “passport” and were encouraged to have it stamped at the Hispanic, African-American, Asian and American stations when they toured around the room.
There were performances by Royal Steel, the steel-drum band from The First Academy; The Orlando Ballet; the Dillard Street Elementary Chorus; the Tewari Girls; and the Godinez Family.
