About 660 Olympia High seniors graduated Friday, May 27, at the CFE Arena on UCF’s campus.
Olympia High School said farewell to its class of 2016 in a graduation ceremony Thursday, May 27, at the CFE Arena, located on the University of Central Florida’s campus. The ceremony started at 7 p.m., as about 660 seniors filed in to take their seats and prepare to walk across the stage. Special guests included District 4 School Board Member Pam Gould, State Senator Geraldine Thompson, Windermere Mayor Gary Bruhn and Area Superintendent Bridget Williams.
Additionally, three students — Michelle Hayworth, Stephanie van Dijk and Rachel Parker — performed their renditions of the National Anthem, “I Hope You Dance” and “I Was Here,” respectively.
