The Town of Windermere's annual Fine Art Show took over downtown March 2 and March 3.
Artists and art lovers packed the streets of downtown Windermere March 2 and March 3 for the Fourth Annual Windermere Fine Art show. This year’s show featured the works of 100 artists. From Jewelers, metal and glass workers to painters, sculptors and photographers, the show featured works for all artistic tastes. In addition to selling and displaying their work, participating artists competed for honors.
Carey Sheffield won Best of Show; Terry Mamounas won first place; Helen Avalon was awarded second place; third place went to Ward Sieglar; and three honorable mentions were given to Paul La Montagne, Todd Fox and Orlando Penalza.
Other artist were recognized for awards as well. Colleen Ardaman was recognized as “Most Colorful Artist” and Jose Pereira was recognized as “Most Creative Artist.” Andre LaSalle was recognized as “Most Original Artist.” Laurel Hankins was recognized as “Most Promising Artist” and Loren Berry was recognized as “Most Supportive Artist.” William Doak was selected as the “Featured Artist” for the 2020 Windermere Fine Art Show.
