Pony rides, a petting zoo and a dance zone had Hamlin rocking on Saturday morning.
Animal lovers and families just looking for a fun outing made their way out to Hamlin to take in the first ever Hamlin Hoedown Saturday, June 19.
Dressed in their best plaid shirts and cowboy hats, locals and visitors alike took to the green space next to Cinépolis from 9 a.m. to noon to enjoy hanging out with barnyard animals brought in by Noah’s Landing Mobile Petting Zoo & Pony Rides — which included a number of animals such as lambs, goats, pigs, chickens and bunnies.
Along with the petting zoo and pony rides, children got to enjoy a craft area and face painting, while DJ Renee played music and led dance game.
