Despite the FHSAA state championships being last week, the competitive cheer season is still going for many local schools — with the latest big event being the 2021 Metro Conference Competitive Cheerleading Championships at East River last night (Thursday, Jan. 29).
The Ocoee Knights came out on top in the Metro West division, ahead of Windermere High (second place) and Dr. Phillips (third place). Meanwhile, in the Metro East division, Winter Park took home first place.
