Windermere Elementary students and staff exchanged smiles, laughter and air hugs during the school’s recent ‘care-avan’ parade.
While students and teachers can’t be at school for a while due to the coronavirus pandemic, staff from Windermere Elementary brightened their students’ days Thursday, March 26, with a special “care-avan” parade. Dozens of staff members and hundreds of students and families supported each other with signs and words of encouragement. Families lined up along Windermere’s streets to greet staff driving by. With signs of their own, noisemakers and more, teachers waved to parade-goers and told them how much they were missed.
