Dozens of girls slipped on their tennis shoes and buckled their flags for the Powder Puff game at Deputy Scott Pine Community Park.
HORIZON WEST It was a face-off between the juniors and freshmen and the seniors and sophomores Monday, Sept. 10, during Windermere High’s Powder Puff game. Dozens of girls participated and donned class-specific shirts as they competed for the trophy. The boys took on the roles of cheerleaders, dressed in highlighter-yellow shirts and large, white bows as they waved pompons. The “championship” game was cut short due to lightning in the area, with hopes of rescheduling it for next week.
