For the second year in-a-row Windermere celebrated Easter with a parade around town.
The Windermere Police Department brought some Easter cheer to the children of Windermere during the town's Easter parade Saturday, April 3.
Starting at Estancia Woods Loop at 10 a.m., police vehicles — one of which carried around the Easter bunny and Police Chief David Ogden — proceeded to ride around town for two hours, throwing out bags filled with candy and small toys to children waiting in their driveways.
This year's event was the second ever Easter parade put on by the town after its annual Easter Egg-Stravaganza was called off once again due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
