It was an afternoon filled with school pride and excitement as Winter Park High School celebrated its homecoming parade and pep rally in downtown Winter Park on Wednesday.
The parade kicked off around 5:30 p.m. on a closed off Park Avenue and featured the WPHS Marching Band, cheerleaders, and homecoming court among others.
Friends, families, and Winter Park alums lined up and down the street to wave and cheer on those participating in the parade.
From Park Avenue the festivities continued over at Central Park where the band and cheerleaders performed, and students did skits up on stage to close out the afternoon's celebration.
