AdventHealth Central Florida president/CEO resigns

Daryl Tol, AdventHealth’s Central Florida Division’s president and CEO has resigned from his position, which was announced in a press release Wednesday, Jan. 6.

“I have been blessed to serve AdventHealth for 20 years and help lead this company in Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ,” Tol said in a statement. “AdventHealth is blessed with strong, capable leaders who will continue this important work into the future.”

The move came as a surprise to the organization, said Terry Shaw — president and CEO of AdventHealth — and now there is a search underway to select a permanent replacement in the coming weeks. As of right now, Jennifer Wandersleben — regional CEO for the Central Florida Division — is in charge while a search for Tol’s replacement is undertaken.
