A fatal crash occurred along the Florida Turnpike in Oakland at around 6:45 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
The collision, which took place at mile marker 272, involved multiple vehicles, including a dump truck.
One person was pronounced dead at the hospital following the crash. As of 8:13 a.m., three southbound lanes were blocked.
