Robbery

An unknown male at the 1900 block of Aloma Avenue on Jan. 29 approached the victim from behind after the victim left the bank and stole $3,300.

Residential burglaries

An unknown person at the 900 block of Camellia Avenue on Jan. 29 used red brick to break the glass pane on the rear door of a house and stole a Mac Book laptop and a 36" Toshiba TV.

An unknown person at the 500 block of Henkel Circle on Feb. 1 entered a residence by unknown means and stole a 42" Vizio plasma TV, PS3, DVD movies, a Mac Book Pro laptop and a Louis Vuitton purse.

An unknown person at the 1400 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue on Feb. 2 broke a glass pane on a front door to gain entry and then stole three Rolex watches, a JVC DVD player, a Taurus 357 revolver, a Karr 9mm handgun and fine jewelry.

An unknown person at the 1100 block of Preserve Point Drive on Feb. 2 stole a Samsung 37 LCD TV and a Samsung 40" LCD TV from a cabana located behind the house.

An unknown person at the 600 block of Worthington Drive on Feb. 4 pried open the rear door and stole cash from within the residence.

Vehicle burglaries and theft

An unknown black female at the 900 block of Carver Street on Feb. 2 slashed all four tires of a vehicle, poured sugar in the fuel tank, keyed the sides of the vehicle and smeared grease on the surface of the vehicle.

An unknown person at the 1200 block of Serena Drive on Jan. 30 stole a silver 2002 Ford F150 truck from a driveway.

An unknown person at the 1000 block of Golfside Drive on Jan. 31 entered an unlocked vehicle and unsuccessfully attempted to steal a car stereo.

An unknown person at the 1300 block of Michigan Avenue on Feb. 1 stole a Springfield Armory XD .45 handgun and a TomTom GPS unit from a vehicle.

An unknown person at the 1200 block of North Lakemont Avenue on Feb. 2 broke the driver's side window and stole a purse from under seat. A white hatchback vehicle (possibly a Toyota Matrix) might have been involved.

Business burglaries

An unknown person at the 1600 block of Lee Road on Feb. 4 kicked in the rear door and stole cash from the business.

Noise complaints

Winter Park Police registered various noise complaints from around the city between Jan. 29 and Feb. 4, including loud music, loud parties and loud instruments.

Arrests

Arrests were made in Winter Park between Jan. 29 and Feb. 4 for crimes including sexual battery, retail theft and false imprisonment.
