Dr. Phillips returns with alumni/varsity softball game and home-run derby

More than 15 alumni are expected to attend the event, which returns after a five-year hiatus.

After a five-year hiatus, Dr. Phillips High baseball celebrated a longtime tradition Saturday, April 9, with its alumni/varsity softball game.

Festivities started at 11 a.m. The game was scheduled for 2 p.m., and a home-run derby scheduled at the game's conclusion.

A barbecue was open throughout the event.
