Goodwill hosting virtual seminars for job seekers

The six free web sessions will focus on different aspects of job searching and are designed to help job seekers with their search.

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is doing its part in helping local job seekers. 

The nonprofit is hosting a series of free virtual web seminars that kicked off today, Tuesday, March 1.

The webinars will each focus on a different aspect of the job search process and are designed to help job seekers find a job that best fits their needs and skills. 

The free session today focused on networking, while the next one on Thursday, March 3, will focus on resume writing. 

Other sessions will focus on topics including job search techniques, career exploration and interviewing tips. 

In addition, on March 16, Goodwill will team up with the Seminole County Bar Association Legal Aid Society for a webinar on sealing and expunging a record. The legal experts will discuss the process, including eligibility requirements.

Pre-registration is required for attendance to the online workshops. Each webinar will have its own unique registration link.
