The Healthy West Orange Trails Connection is asking for feedback from local residents.

The HWOTC brings together partners to promote, activate and enhance the trail system by creating opportunities for physical activity, social engagement, prosperity, and happiness.

The organization is planning a safety audit that begins with the West Orange Trail and is seeking local feedback through a survey.

"Future trail safety surveys and audits will be forthcoming exploring even more of the trail system as the Healthy West Orange Trails Connection continues to work on making our community a safe and comfortable place to walk, bike and roll," HWOTC said on its website.

The survey asks residents questions such as how often they use the West Orange Trail, their favorite time of day to use the trail, what portion of the trail they use most frequently and more.

HWOTC said its goal is to connect a dynamic regional trail system that locals can enjoy close to home.
