Homicide declared in Ocoee robbery of 63-year-old

Officers found the victim, Mary Anne Zosel, in a home at 30 W. Franklin Street.

OCOEE  Ocoee Police Department officers responded at about 12:30 a.m. April 30 to a home on West Franklin Street.

The call was about an injured woman, Mary Anne Zosel, 63, whom officials later pronounced dead.

Detectives have opened a homicide investigation for this incident and will release updates when new information is available.

UPDATE 3:40 p.m. May 2

Ocoee Police Department records indicate this incident has been suspected of involving shots fired.

UPDATE 10:04 a.m. May 6

Ocoee Police Department officials announced Zosel was injured in a home invasion robbery at her residence of 30 W. Franklin Street. Crimeline is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information pertinent to this investigation.
