Horizon West-based CEO wins Connect Florida’s Chair Award

Horizon West resident Pete Zimek has won Connect Florida’s Chair Award. 

Zimek is the CEO of iLS network, a company that uses internet listings to match renters with apartments that best fit their lifestyle and budget. The company serves the Orlando, Tampa Bay, Gainesville, Tallahassee, Jacksonville and Daytona Beach markets. Locally, people can use the service at 407apartments.com.

Connect Florida is a program developed by Leadership Florida to assist young professionals in making a positive impact on their state.

This is not the first award Zimek has won. Earlier this year, he received the Gator 100 award, which honors the fastest-growing business owned or led by UF alumni.
