Keene's Crossing students donate Little Free Library

The school's Class of 2026 donated the library, according to the school.

In addition to their media center resources, Keene's Crossing Cougars now also have another way to access and read books.

The school posted on Friday, Oct. 4, that its Class of 2026 donated a Little Free Library. According to LFL's website, there are more than 90,000 registered Little Free Library book-sharing boxes in 91 countries.

A Little Free Library is a “take a book, return a book” free book exchange. Anyone can either take a book or bring a book to share.

Keene's Crossing Elementary posted this photo of its new Little Free Library on Facebook.

Keene's Crossing posted on Facebook that the Class of 2026 started their LFL with a copy of each of the Sunshine State books for grades three through five. Students are encouraged to enjoy them, but the school asks that they only take one book at a time and return it upon finishing it.
