Lisa Montgomery named West Orange High School athletic director

Montgomery rejoins the Warriors athletic department following a year as the AD at Edgewater High School.

There's a familiar face taking over the athletic department at West Orange High School, as former track coach Lisa Montgomery will be stepping into the department's lead role.

The news was announced by the WOHS PTSO's Facebook page Wednesday, June 24, that Montgomery would take over the department.

For the last year Montgomery has acted as the AD at Edgewater High School, but before that she spent almost five years at WOHS where she served as a PE instructor, assistant AD, track coach and weightlifting coach. Her entire career — since 2000 — has been spent in the Orange County Public School system.

Keep an eye out for a more in-depth story on Montgomery in next week's issue of the Observer
