Ocoee commission to deliver State of the City address

City leaders will discuss at the commission meeting Tuesday the state of the city, streetscaping along Bluford Ave as well as three properties that owners have offered to sell to the the City.

Ocoee leaders will be delivering a State of the City Report this evening.

The report will be delivered at 5:45 p.m. before the the city commission meeting at 6:15.

During the meeting, commissioners will discuss streetscape modification along Bluford Avenue between Delaware Street and McKey Street. City staffers recently completed a walkability and public safety assessment of this area of Bluford Avenue and will discuss their findings with the commission.

Following that discussion, city leaders will talk about three properties within the city that are available for purchase. The property owners have contacted with city and have proposed to sell. Those properties are the Forest Lake Golf Club, recording studio on Starke Lake and the Church of Christ property in Downtown.
