Walgreens and the Rosen JCC are partnering to host a vaccination clinic in the local community this month.

The clinic will provide COVID-19 vaccines and booster shots for adults as well as vaccines for children ages 3-11.

COVID-19 shots for children require a parent present to sign a permission form. Families must also stay for a 15 minute observation period after vaccination.

In addition, there will be shots for tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis, also known as TDAP, pneumonia for those 65 and older and shingles for those 55 and older.

Although there is no appointment necessary to attend, the immunizations vary in insurance coverage. The event sponsors are asking attendees to provide insurance cards ahead of time for billing purposes to verify a $0 co-pay.

The clinic will take place from 1-3 p.m. on Monday, July 18, at the Rosen JCC, 11184 S Apopka Vineland Road.

For more information, contact the Rosen JCC by email at [email protected] or by phone at (407) 387-5330.
