One woman and her daughter were shot in their home the morning of Monday, July 30, Ocoee police said in a press release.

Ocoee police officers responded to the shooting, which occurred around 7:30 a.m., after the daughter called 911. Upon arrival, Ocoee police found a deceased woman and one surviving victim – the woman’s daughter – at the home.

In the 911 call, the daughter stated her boyfriend, Pierre Odnis Bernard, 23, shot her and her mother and then fled the area in his vehicle.

“Please, I’m losing a lot of blood,” the daughter said during the 911 call. “Can I please have an ambulance? My boyfriend came in and shot me and my mom. My mom is dead.”

The boyfriend was later found dead with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Ocoee police said.
