OAKLAND — In response to two incidences of vandalism and petty theft at Oakland Nature Preserve, the Oakland Police Department has increased patrols at the preserve in an attempt to catch the vandals and/or prevent further damage and losses.

Both events occurred in areas that are not yet monitored by surveillance cameras.
