Winter Garden police issue Silver Alert for elderly man

Thomas Roland Eastman, who has difficulty with directions, was last seen Feb. 10.

UPDATE Feb. 22: Thomas Roland Eastman was found healthy and safe in an assisted-living facility.

The Winter Garden Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for 88-year-old Thomas Roland Eastman. A family member who lives out of state requested a well check on the man — who resides at Lot 195 of the Winter Garden RV Resort, 13905 W. Colonial Drive, Winter Garden — but Eastman was not there.

The family member has not seen or heard from Eastman since Wednesday, Feb. 10. The missing man has a pacemaker and has been having difficulty finding his way around lately, his family said.

Eastman is a white male, five feet eight inches and 160 pounds with white hair and hazel eyes. A silver 2017 Nissan Versa with the Florida tag EQTW16 is registered to Eastman and has not been seen at the residence since Feb. 10, police said.
